Description
This 50 lb bag Bermuda seed can be used for pasture, hay production, erosion control, lawns, roadsides and many other uses. It is adapted for a wide range of soil types from sandy to clay. Bermuda is well adapted to the lower 1/3 of the US on well drained sites. It is drought tolerant but can also stand short periods of flooding. Planting seed is the most cost-effective way to plant Bermuda grass. Hulled seeds are seeds that have part of the protective seed coat mechanically removed so as to speed up germination percentages. This makes it more likely for the seed to all germinate at the same time. Coated seed has been coated with a coating material (clay based) and a fungicide to increase successful germination by providing control of seed and soil borne pathogens.
